“ Always a good place for a get-together with family and friends. Also a go-to restaurant when entertaining foreign friends and " balikbayans". Their Crispy Pata or Binukadkad na Pla pla and Sinigang sa Bayabas are our family favorites. The rice cooked inside the bamboo is one of their bestseller. And the pandan juice and tamarind shake are "a must try" drinks. This time I tried their suman bilyunario- a fried suman with a palm sugar dip. And that was one happy meal. ”
“ 4.5 stars – Great food overall, but room for improvement on consistency We’ve always looked forward to dining at Abe in BGC, and while the food is generally great, our recent visit had a small hiccup. We ordered Pesang Dalag, but since it wasn’t available, we requested Bangus instead. Unfortunately, what arrived lacked the signature pesa sauce—turning it into more of a plain boiled fish dish. When we asked, staff said the sauce was no longer prepared because it’s rarely ordered. The chef attempted to prepare the sauce or make a replacement, but it was overly salty and delayed, causing the soup to go cold. By the time it was reheated, we were already done eating. To their credit, the staff was very apologetic, offered to cancel the dish from the bill (which we declined), and even offered to make it up on our next visit. That sincere service salvaged the experience. ”
“ Abe offers a truly delightful dining experience with a food menu that stands out for its creativity and uniqueness. The dishes are not typically found elsewhere, making each meal a new adventure for the palate. However, the service can be a bit slow at times, which may impact the overall experience.Overall, abgreat spot for those looking to explore interesting flavors! ”

“ Authentic Filipino meals, but the pork and fish need little more spices. Attentive service. ”
“ Filipino flavors with a twist ???????? Highly recommend this spot for balikbayans and tourists looking to experience the Filipino palate in a fun, elevated way! Not the best place for heart-to-heart convos (it gets pretty loud), but the food makes up for it. Friendly staff and bold flavors all the way! ”
